The Town's Special Council Meeting scheduled for the 9 April has been cancelled following the Council's resolution to cease public disposal process of the Wind in the Willows and explore a new, community focused direction for the childcare service.

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 24 March 2026, Council resolved to adopt a new direction for the future of the Wind in the Willows Early Childhood Education and Childcare Services.
