Bassendean Youth Centre

The Swan Districts Football Club operates the Youth Centre three afternoons a week offering access to computers, console games, pool and table tennis tables, and individual support. The aim of the program is to provide positive recreational opportunities in a supervised environment, allowing for the development of longer-term support relationships and future referral to specialist services.  The centre is partly funded by the Town of Bassendean. 

The Youth Centre is location in the RA McDonald Pavilion, Steel Blue Oval, corner of West and Guildford Roads, Bassendean

Dudley Robinson Youth Grant

The Grant support individuals to strive toward developing their potential in their chosen pursuit.  Individuals can apply for a grant to represent the State or Commonwealth in a recognised sporting, performance arts, academic achievement event, or to attend youth leadership activities.

RYDE Program

This program provides young people the opportunity to complete their 50 hours of supervised driving experience with a volunteer Driving Mentor.

Learner Drivers are linked with a volunteer mentor and automatic vehicle to practice for their driving licence and all of the opportunities that come with it.
