In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Town of Bassendean hereby gives notice of its intention to impose differential rates on rateable property in the Town of Bassendean in the 2024/25 financial year.
Details of the proposed differential rates are available in the notice. Please review attached notice below prior to submitting a submission to the Town.
The cents in the dollar ($) shown in the notice are estimates and may be changed as part of the Council’s deliberations on any submissions received. All statutory entitlements in relation to rates for pensioner and other concession holders will apply.
The objects and reasons for each proposed rate and minimum payment may be inspected at any time on the Town's website and Town of Bassendean Customer Service Centre, 35 Old Perth Road, Bassendean.
