PROPOSED PARKING AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW

 At its 22 November 2022 Ordinary Meeting, Council resolved to advertise a new draft Parking Amendment Local Law.

 The purpose of the proposed Parking Amendment Local Law is to amend the existing Parking Local Law 2019 to insert new definitions and classes of vehicles, amend schedule 3 and clarify the impoundment clause.

 The effect of the proposed Parking Amendment Local Law is to amend and clarify the Parking Local Law 2019 to ensure the continued management of parking within the district.

 A copy of the proposed Local Law may be inspected at or obtained from the Town’s Customer Service Centre at 35 Old Perth Road, Bassendean between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, or at the Bassendean Library at 46 Old Perth Road, Bassendean during its hours of operation.  Alternatively, the proposed Local Law can be reviewed on the Town’s website www.bassendean.wa.gov.au.

Submissions close 5:00pm Friday 3 February 2023.

Any submissions received will be considered as part of the determination process and your submission will be publicly available in the Council Agenda.
