The Town’s Council Plan outlines this community’s strategic priorities, vision, and desired outcomes for the next ten years, offering a cohesive and collaborative roadmap for the Town’s four-year delivery program of actions.

The community, Council and Administration have contributed significant time and effort to the development of the Plan, guiding the integration of the Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan into one succinct document. The Council Plan provides a strategic overview, with an annual review that will guide the budget and organisational outputs.

The Plan provides an overview of each of the performance areas that will be reported on:  

• People 
• Planet 
• Place 
• Prosperity  
• Performance.

These are presented in sections and include the current situation, recent achievements, and what we do. These overviews are then followed by the actions for each performance area developed from the various consultations. Many of the plan objectives and actions are linked to informing strategies. The published, and publicly available strategies are provided as links on page 45 of the Plan for your reference.
