What is the Town of Bassendean doing in response to COVID-19?
The Town is following the direction from local and State health agencies to provide an environment that is safe and healthy, and will continue to provide essential community services. The health and wellbeing of our residents, visitors, staff and broader community is paramount.

To reduce the risk of spread, the Town has implemented the following measures
- Closed Playgrounds and turned off water fountains.
- Cancelled the Old Perth Road Markets, ANZAC Day ceremony, citizenship ceremonies, NAIDOC Week and Telethon Community Cinemas.
- Promoted online activities such as StoryTime.
- Encourage customers and ratepayers to use the Town's online services

Available forms of payments include
- In Person Payments using Eftpos or Cheque. Cash payments discouraged.
- Credit cards over the phone
- Cheque/money orders can be posted to PO Box 87, Bassendean WA 6934

Can I book a Town venue?
Existing hirers are returning to venues, with a COVID safety plan.
No new bookings will be accepted or approved until further notice.

Is the Library open?
Yes, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Not open Saturdays. Please use our online library services here.
Can I enrol in the RElax program?
Our classes are now online. Due to high enrolments, we are not taking further inquiries.
